The Journeyman

Name the well-travelled player

His clubs appear one at a time. The fewer you need, the more points you score.

The aim: name the player from the clubs he played for. Clubs appear one at a time, and loan spells are marked. A player is worth 5 points with one club showing, then 4, 3, 2 and finally 1. Each bonus clue (nationality, position or the decade he started) costs a point, but you always score at least 1.

Pub: one person taps Next club while everyone shouts. Tap the winner's name on the team sheet to give them the points. Solo: type your guess. A wrong guess reveals another club. Daily: one player a day, the same for everyone, with a result you can share. 60 Seconds: name as many players as you can before the clock runs out.

Easy players spent time at two or more of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham. Hard players never played for any of them, and Hard rounds start with his most obscure club.

      About The Journeyman

Every footballer has a story told by the clubs he played for. The Journeyman reveals a player's senior clubs one at a time, including spells abroad, in the lower leagues and on loan, until someone works out who it is.

Each career was checked against the player's record before it went in. Play in the pub with friends, on your own, against the clock, or take on the daily challenge and share your result.
